Hey Kids, “How can technology make the world a better place?” | Telecom World 2011

This year’s ITU Telecom World 2011 Conference (October 24-27) is looking to the little guys for BIG ideas and solutions to the world’s problems. The ITU is calling on schoolchildren across the globe to submit their ideas, prototypes and innovations in areas where technology can be harnessed to accelerate progress toward the Millennium Development Goals. Power roles are thus reversed, as children are given the opportunity to influence key ICT decision makers, Heads of State/Government, industry CEOs, technology gurus, and delegations from their own countries.
